Our Story
A community based organisation that has provided activities and services for young people, children and families in Deception Bay since 1994.
We believe that the Deception Bay community can only benefit from active participation from all who live and work here. An ongoing investment in people’s social and emotional well being will inevitably lead to a healthier, happier community. This is why DBCYP is committed to building the capacity of the Deception Bay community to be actively involved in their own and their communities life .

Our Local Pathways to Work program offers various courses and traineeship opportunities at no-cost throughout the year.

Deception Bay Community Youth Programs delivers a range of playgroups, activities and events through our DBay Families program for families with children 0 -12 in Deception Bay.
DBCYP hopes to see families enjoy their children, love them and gain any supports needed along the way. DBay Families is committed to seeing that Deception Bay is a community where children are loved, nurtured and valued.
