Our Hot Spots is aimed at community members who are entering or returning to the workforce with a goal of moving into sustainable employment. We offer a Certificate II in Hospitality and Certificate II in Retail.

Certificate II in Hospitality

Our NO COST Certificate II in Hospitality program is aimed at community members who are entering or returning to the workforce with a goal of moving into sustainable employment.

Certificate II in Hospitality provides basic skills and knowledge for students to work as operational staff in hospitality establishments. This qualification provides pathways to work in various hospitality settings such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, cafes and coffee shops. This program is 12 weeks in duration (Monday-Wednesday) with 12 shifts of work experience included.

Alongside the excellent qualification, you will be linked with an employment coach who will provide 1-to-1 coaching, guidance through positive psychology and support into work. Also, you will be linked into our Stay Connected Job Search program, to help you get work and stay in work!

Our next Hospitality course starts Tuesday 5th May. 

Certificate II in Retail

Our NO COST Certificate II in Retail program is aimed at community members who are entering or returning to the workforce with a goal of moving into sustainable employment.

Certificate II in Retail provides basic skills and knowledge for students to engage and work effectively in a retail environment. You’ll learn how to produce visual merchandise displays, organise and maintain the store environment, and advise on products and services. This program is 10 weeks in duration (Monday-Wednesday) + any additional work experience.

Alongside the excellent qualification, you will be linked with an employment coach who will provide 1-to-1 coaching, guidance through positive psychology and support into work. Also, you will be linked into our Stay Connected Job Search program, to help you get work and stay in work!

 

Our next Retail course starts on Monday 13th July.
